Travel Note
For flights to New Jersey or New York in February, you’ll want to consider the weather and any potential delays, as February can be a chilly and snowy month. That said, there are a few major airports you can choose from depending on where you’re flying into: Our suggestion is EWR or LGA! 1. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) – Newark, NJ Best for: Those flying into New Jersey or the western side of NYC. Distance from ceremony/reception: About 20 (via car); no direct train from airport to location Flight tips: If you're flying from within the U.S., this is a convenient option as it serves a lot of domestic and international flights. It’s also less congested than LaGuardia and JFK 2. LaGuardia Airport (LGA) – Queens, NY Best for: Domestic flights, especially from the East Coast. Distance from ceremony/reception: 30-40 minutes (via car) ; 1hr-1hr 10 mins (via train) Flight tips: LaGuardia is great for quick domestic flights and is a little more centralized for Manhattan access. However, it's currently undergoing renovations, so expect some construction delays. 3. John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) – Queens, NY Best for: International flights and those flying from the West Coast. Distance from ceremony/reception: 50-60 minutes depending on traffic (via car); 1hr-1hr 10 mins (via train) Flight tips: JFK is a major international hub, so there are lots of options for international and long-haul domestic flights. It can be a bit more chaotic during the winter months, so plan for potential delays due to weather.
