FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm inside San Francisco City Hall. We recommend arriving to the city by 2:00-2:15pm to allow time for parking, security, finding the ceremony location, and getting seated.

Question

Where is the best parking for the ceremony?

Answer

The best nearby parking option is the Civic Center Parking Garage (Lot 200) at 355 McAllister Street, located directly in front of San Francisco City Hall. Rates vary depending on arrival time, typically around $4–$7 per hour. We recommend heading straight to levels 2 or 3, as the first level is often full. For the easiest access, try to park close to the elevators. Once you take the elevator up to the Plaza Level, you’ll exit right in front of San Francisco City Hall. From entering the garage to reaching the building, plan for about 8–10 minutes total.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’ve had a few questions about bringing additional guests 🤍 Because we’re at capacity for the restaurant dining room, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. We really appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire 🤍 We recommend semi-formal outfits—think dresses, dressy tops, button-downs, slacks, or suits. Come dressed up and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating with a cash bar. Drinks will be available to purchase at the venue for those who’d like to drink. We can’t wait to raise a glass with you!

Question

Will there be transportation from San Francisco City Hall to Sacred Taco?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. Many of our guests might plan to carpool or share Ubers/Lyfts together. If you’re driving, there’s a parking garage conveniently located near Sacred Taco for easy access.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be fully present with us, so we ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything for you to enjoy later!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
