What adjustments are being made in light of COVID-19?

Answer

The health and safety of our loved ones is of top priority. In light of COVID-19 we have opted to have our wedding and reception outdoors under a large, spacious tent where social distancing can be easily accommodated. Depending on the weather, heating or cooling will be provided. All tables will be placed six feet apart, seating for the ceremony will have ample room for social distancing, cocktail hour will be seated, and guests are asked to be seated while drinking. Guests are encouraged to take their temperatures before attending and to stay home if they are not feeling well.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal, Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and Suits are preferred. Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Please RSVP on our website by September 27th.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #AbbeyYourValentine so we can keep track of all of your pictures. However, we have decided to opt for an unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
