Valentin and Josette's first date began at a Mexican restaurant. Josette was so nervous that she ended up talking Valentin’s ear off. When their food arrived, they were both surprised. While the tacos were okay, they definitely weren’t exactly what they had expected...more like Taco Bell. After dinner, they went to see Joker, interesting choice for a first date, but a great movie nonetheless. Still not ready to call it a night, they drove up to a lookout spot with an incredible view of Flagstaff and its lights at night. It was the perfect place to sit, talk, and really start getting to know each other. The night nearly ended with flashing blue and red lights behind them because they were up talking so late that they didn’t realize there was a midnight curfew. Valentin finally drove Josette back to her dorm, where they shared their first kiss. La primera cita de Valentín y Josette comenzó en un restaurante mexicano. Después de cenar, fueron a ver Joker, una elección interesante para una primera cita, pero una gran película de todos modos. Aún sin ganas de terminar la noche, manejaron hasta un mirador con una vista increíble de Flagstaff y sus luces nocturnas. Fue el lugar perfecto para sentarse, hablar y comenzar a conocerse de verdad. La noche terminó con luces azules y rojas detrás de ellos, ya que se quedaron hablando por horas y perdieron la noción del tiempo y no se dieron cuenta que el parque cerraba a medianoche. Finalmente, Valentín llevó a Josette de regreso a su dormitorio, donde compartieron su primer beso.
