Valentina and Spencer met where most love stories begin – at their local Olive Garden – both were working there while they studied at Eastern Kentucky University. Over the course of two years, Valentina and Spencer had become good friends, talking frequently at work and occasionally spending time together at gatherings amongst co-workers. It was one particular night at a friend’s house that Valentina and Spencer found themselves lost in conversation with each other for hours while the rest of the party continued on without them. At the end of the evening, Valentina and Spencer had realized that they had enjoyed each other’s company so much that they should spend more time together. The two began going on dates shortly thereafter. A few months later, the two took a road trip to St. Louis, Missouri where Valentina asked Spencer if he was serious about their relationship. He said yes. Three and a half years later, they went back to St. Louis and it was Spencer’s turn to ask the question: “Will you marry me?” She said yes. Valentina and Spencer will be married on October 3rd, 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky.
