Wailua Falls Hike
Wailua Falls is about a 30 minute drive from Koloa/Poipu and well worth the trip! Featuring a 173 foot waterfall located near Lihue that feeds into the Wailua River. The waterfall is prominently featured on the opening credits of the television series Fantasy Island. There are paths to the bottom of the falls, but it can be muddy and slippery. Accessing Wailua Falls is easy, requiring a scenic ten minute drive off the main road, Highway 56.
