Our mutual friends believed we would be a perfect match. We went out multiple times and continued talking in some cases past the closing hours of the restaurant. We became terrific friends. The magic was at the Joan Jett concert at the Stern Grove concert series. We came together after dancing all afternoon and enjoying each other's company once again.

The location: Sunset Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea. After picking up a cake for Valentina's Birthday, I suggested we go to the beach. After popping a bottle of Tattinger, we enjoyed the warm sun washing over us on the blanket. I maneuvered around to a kneeling position and popped the question. Valentina did not even get to say yes, before I had the ring on her finger. We're excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Sonoma
