Things To Do

Balboa Park

Balboa Park

1549 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101
, (619) 239-0512

We love coming to Balboa Park! It is so beautiful here day or night. Saturday afternoons there are small business vendors selling paintings and unique art all on one road, or you can turn the corner and visit the beautiful Botanical Garden. Ahmad actually proposed at Balboa Park in the Alcazar Garden!

CeramiCafe

CeramiCafe

3435 Del Mar Heights Road, San Diego, CA 92130
, (858) 259-9958

If you're going to be in town for a week or so we recommend visiting CeramiCafe on some down time. We love going to CeramiCafe for date night during the week when it's less crowded. It is so relaxing getting a table to ourselves and just painting and forgetting where we are even if it is just for a couple of hours. The ceramics do take about a week to pick up so keep that in mind if you're coming in from out of town.

Holland's Bicycles

Holland's Bicycles

977 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118
, (619) 435-3153

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Go to Holland's Bicycles to rent a bike (inexpensive typically) and bike around all of Coronado Island in no time and get to see all of its beauty! The houses in the neighborhood are so cute and the bike ride is a breeze with no big slopes or hills.

Pappalecco

Pappalecco

12925 El Camino Real, San Diego, CA 92130

So yummy! We recommend the basil tomato soup and don't forget the gelato it's amazing!
