The celebration and parts of the reception will take place outside at Kan Tulum. Plan to dress semi formal with breathable clothing to ensure you stay cool in 70-80 degree weather in the jungle.
Remember to pay two weeks prior to arrival (by March 28th for guests arriving on April 11). Contact the front desk at frontdesk@kantulum.com and allow for extra days to ensure payment goes smoothly.
Kan Tulum has shuttles available from/to the airport. They require an email at least 48 hrs ahead of time to set this up (we recommend reaching out ASAP). To schedule this service, email frontdesk@kantulum.com with all flight information. Depending on your day/time of arrival and airport (Tulum or Cancun), we may be able to plan for groups to move around together.
You can exchange currency at the airport, banks, or authorized currency exchange offices in Tulum. While airport exchanges are convenient, they may not offer the best rates. Consider comparing rates at a few different places. Many establishments in Tulum accept credit and debit cards, especially in tourist areas. However, it's advisable to inform your bank of your travel plans to avoid any issues with international transactions. Smaller vendors, local markets, and some taxis may only accept cash. Having a reasonable amount of MXN in cash can be very useful for smaller purchases.
Ridesharing options like Uber and Lyft are not accesible in Tulum. Bikes and taxis are readily accesible. You may also chose to rent a car if you'd like more mobility although this is not advisable based on online websites due to auto robbery and difficulty with congestion/driving around.
