Where are you getting married?
Answer
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we did have a change of venue. La Lomita Ranch was one of our top picks from the start and we are so excited to now be getting married there! If you have already booked your stay in SLO, not to worry. Our venue is about 5 miles from downtown SLO, which is where we listed our suggested hotels. Will there be transportation to the wedding?
Answer
We are in the process of organizing a shuttle that will pick up and drop off from one of the hotels on Monterey Street in downtown San Luis Obispo, where we’ve listed several recommended hotels on our travel page. You are welcome to stay at any of the hotels we’ve listed along Monterey Street, as they are all within walking distance of one another, or use Google Maps to find another nearby option. The venue is approximately 5 miles from this area, and the shuttle will run throughout the event. We highly encourage using the shuttle if you are not planning to rent a car. While Ubers do operate in our area, availability can be limited, especially during busy weekends and events, and we’ve seen this become challenging in the past. This is why we’re organizing transportation for our guests. We’ll update this section as soon as we have more details to share.

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be held in the Pavilion, a beautiful covered space with soaring ceilings, iron chandeliers, and open archways that blend indoor and outdoor seamlessly. It's covered but still feels very much open air. In early August in San Luis Obispo, daytime temperatures typically range from the high 70s to low 80s (about 78°F to 82°F), with evenings cooling into the mid to upper 50s to low 60s, and rain is very unlikely.

What is the suggested attire?
Answer
Cocktail attire or formal. The celebration will be primarily outdoors, so we recommend dressing for warm weather and bringing a light layer for the evening.

Will there be vegetarian or dietary-friendly options?
Answer
Yes. We will be serving meat options, as well as wood-fired pizza (with a no-meat option), salad, and vegetable and starch sides. The menu is inspired by Southern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, highlighting fresh, simple ingredients.
