Jon set his dating profile to a 2-mile radius — and the rest, as they say, is history. From our very first date, we both knew something felt different. After navigating the ups and downs of online dating, I was a little jaded and he was cautious — but from that first phone call, everything just felt easy. It didn’t take long for me to fall for his punny jokes, his love for his family, and his kind heart for his community. Our weekends have become our favorite time — traveling to new places (he loves driving, I love being passenger), exploring thrift stores and game shops (his favorites), and recently even going on little “library card hunts” (my favorite). And when we’re not out exploring, you’ll usually find us at home having cozy puzzling nights — me piecing together puzzles while he paints his mini figures.
