Yes we are doing a dry wedding, for convenience and we’re just not huge fans of drinking. P.s. Please refrain from bringing flasks and such.
We want you to be comfortable at our springtime barn wedding! Dress Code is business casual, with the exception of wearing Jeans. We think dressing up is super fun and fit for such an occasion, so if you wear a suit or dress you will not be overdressed! Please bring shoes that can walk in damp grass for some yard games!
Yes! It’s a park run by the Three Rivers Park district! There are animals like sheep, cows and chickens all in their respective spots around the property. The park, separate from our rental area, will be open to the public . You can go see the animals but, don’t be surprised if you see other folks walking around some of the pastures.
So we are hoping for sunshine and beautiful weather. It generally feels moderately chilly with a gentle breeze on memorial day weekend, but It may be toasty this year. So maybe consider wearing layers you can take off! We will be outdoors most of the time, weather permitting. Things to consider - Jacket, umbrella, sunglasses, ect
