FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15th We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible, or no later than May 15th, so we can get an accurate head count for food and final details. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Call or Text: Shannon @ 970.560.1227 or Bea @ 970.769.3647

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 PM, so we recommend arriving by 2:30 PM to allow time for parking, finding a seat, and soaking in the beautiful surroundings before we say “I do!”

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to feel comfortable while celebrating with us! Our wedding will have a western rustic theme with a formal touch, so think boots and dresses, bolo ties, button-ups, or whatever makes you feel your best in the country. Weather in the mountains can change quickly, so we recommend dressing in layers or bringing a jacket—just in case. And don’t forget your dancing boots or comfy shoes—we plan to kick up some dust on the dance floor!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! We want you to enjoy the celebration and share this special day with someone you love spending time with. Just be sure to include your guest’s name when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely—family is at the heart of what brings us together. That said, our reception will be BYOB and geared more toward an adult-friendly celebration. We kindly encourage parents to plan ahead with a sitter or a cozy, safe space for little ones, so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We’ll be serving Shannon’s favorite and some of my family’s traditional Mexican food! If you have any food allergies or dietary needs, just let us know ASAP and we’ll do our best to make it work.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There won’t be transportation directly from the hotels, but we will have shuttles available to take guests from the bottom of the hill up to Reservoir Hill Park. It’s a steep and pretty long walk, so we don’t recommend walking—especially since it’ll likely be a hot summer day and not the kind of workout you’ll want in your wedding clothes!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence on our special day means the world to us! While we aren’t planning to have a traditional registry, if you feel called to give, we’d be so grateful for any contribution toward our honeymoon fund. We’re planning to take our honeymoon on our first anniversary, and your gift would help make that dream come true!
