If you are coming in you with a plane you should fly to Stavanger Lufthavn Sola, you can either take a bus or a bolt/taxi in to one of the hotels listed under or rent an airbnb close to the city center. If you cannot find a flight to Stavanger and you rather choose to go to Oslo you can either fly from Oslo to Stavanger or take an 8 hour train from there to get to Stavanger.
