You guessed it...we reconnected on Facebook several years ago after first becoming associated in middle school. He went the way of the Warrior, whereas I proudly became a great Patriot! We lived our lives in our own worlds for many years before social media took us all by storm. So, one day Ricardo Johnson bravely slid into my dms, and yes I ignored the first one or two messages. I lovingly call him "turtle", which fits him on so many levels. He was a persistent dude and his hard shell kept him in the game. Because you know what they say seems to be true... "slow and steady wins the race!" At last seven years later he took our daughter's advice to "make your move bro," and surprised me with a Christmas Holiday proposal. I said yes, even though our "Journey" officially began over seven years ago, our journey down the isle starts now...Let's go, are you ready to embark on this adventure with us?
