This is Val’s favorite cheese steak right in the heart of old city. This place is cash only and no frills- just how it should be. Val’s order is provolone with onions.
T & F Farmers' Pride
The couple’s favorite “hoagie” shop. Also has a variety of local snacks and drinks. A 20 minute drive from the hotel.
White Yak Restaurant
This unique restaurant serves Tibetan food and is a favorite of the couple. It is situated in Roxborough and about a 24 minute drive from the hotel. Val’s choice: try the butter tea.

A more relaxed version of the Philadelphia Zoo with beer on tap, located 20 minutes from the hotel.

Valley Forge is a 20 minute drive away from our hotel. This park features more than 35 miles of trails in addition to historical sites like Washington’s Headquarters.
