Halloween Party 2009 in Euless, TX As many people know, James and Valerie are the, "crazy, lit couple" that everyone always has a great time with. So, it is no surprise that these two met at a party, a college halloween one at that. James was dressed as a cowboy and Valerie was too cool to wear one. When Valerie first met James, he was not her type at all and James never asked for a girl's name more than once. The funny thing is, they both did not directly speak to one another that fateful night, they spoke and got along with each other's friends. Valerie did admit she would sneak glances at James from time to time, she states she likes his smile. Then there's James, who can only remember that he spoke briefly to her. In the end, something clicked that made these two wonderful people come together and now we are finally celebrating them after being together for over twelve years and soon, forever to go!

Bellagio Fountain 2020 in Las Vegas, NV It took a decade and nearly eleven years for James to finally pop the question but when he did, the future became unquestionably bright and clear for the Ngobles. James sweetly proposed to Valerie in front of the Bellagio Fountain surrounded by James' family. He spoke sweetly to her stating, "Moments like these with you are what I cherish the most in life." Valerie replied, "Oh yeah? That's a corny but cute thing to say." James then asked, "You know what else is cute?" (gets down on one knee) "If you'd become my wife. Will you marry me?" Valerie answered, well more like screamed/cried, "YES!!!! IS THIS THE RIGHT HAND?!" just as James was putting the ring on the correct finger.
