FAQs

The Wedding Website of Brian Nguyen and Valerie Truong
A few answers to the questions we keep getting asked. If something's not covered here, reach out — we're happy to help.
Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes — both valet and self-parking will be provided at the Avenue of Arts Hotel. No need to stress about the car.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or kids?

Answer

Plus ones are welcome if designated on your invitation. Kids are absolutely allowed — just let us know when you RSVP whether you'll be bringing little ones or leaving them with a sitter for the night.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Suits and dresses, tuxedos, formal gowns, and traditional Vietnamese áo dài are all welcome and encouraged. One small ask — please leave the white at home. 🤍

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend the Avenue of Arts Hotel, which is our venue and conveniently close to the morning tea ceremony as well. The Hilton and Westin Costa Mesa are also nearby. Check out our Hotels page for more details.

Question

Is there a shuttle between the tea ceremony and reception?

Answer

There won't be a shuttle, so we recommend planning your own transportation between the two locations. Rideshare works great and both venues are easy to get to.

Question

Is the tea ceremony open to all guests?

Answer

Yes — all guests are warmly welcome to attend the morning tea ceremony. Please let us know via RSVP if you plan on joining us so we can make sure there's plenty of food for everyone.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The tea ceremony begins at 9:30 AM. Cocktail hour kicks off at 5:00 PM — we recommend arriving early for both.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please do — and share them with us! We'll have a dedicated photographer, videographer, and content creator capturing the day. We just ask that you be mindful and cooperative if they need a specific shot. Your candids are part of the story too.
