Traveling to Boston

The wedding itself will take place in Jamaica Plain, a neighborhood in the southern quarter of Boston. Hotels can be expensive, so we suggest using a rental service and coordinating with other guests if possible. Jamaica Plain is closest to the Orange Line and 39 and 41 bus routes. The Green line (E line) also gets you close, and you can pick up the 39 bus from Heath Street. There is also plenty of free parking around the venue, and Jamaica Plain itself is very walkable. We suggest spending some time walking down Center St. and visiting the shops, or take a walk around Jamaica Pond or the Arnold Arboretum. We'll share a more detailed guide with our favorite Boston things as the wedding date approaches!

Train

MBTA Map and Schedules

You can tap-and-go with a credit card on any train or bus in Boston, or purchase a Charlie Card at almost any train station. Subway lines and bus routes are your best bet for getting around! The Commuter Rail is also an option, but trains are less frequent and more limited in where you can go. The Orange Line is the best way to access the wedding location in Jamaica Plain, so staying anywhere near an Orange Line stop would be a very convenient way to get to the wedding (and explore the city!). The Green line (E line) will also get you close, and you can take a bus the rest of the way to the wedding location. Any of the train lines and busses will get you into and around Boston, letting you explore to your hearts' content!
