Val & Chris’ paths first crossed as coworkers at Naples Ristorante in Downtown Disney. They slowly got to know each other and soon began looking forward to every shift they shared. It wasn’t long before they were secretly checking each other’s schedules, wondering when they’d see one another again. Little did they know, this work crush would kick off a love story that would keep them warm for years to come. A few months after leaving Naples, Chris (finally) asked Val on a date to a charming little sushi spot, where they humbly discovered that some rolls are simply too big to talk through gracefully. After plenty of laughs, the night ended with a quick drive to the beach to catch the sunset together. That night at the beach would be followed by many more until eventually it felt like it had to be official. Chris asked Val to be his girlfriend at their favorite spot, Sunset Beach, on April 21st, 2018. From their first road trip to San Francisco, to nine national parks, to more music festivals than they can remember, Val and Chris fell more in love with every adventure. They’re grateful for all the memories (and the friends and family that kept up with them). Over the years, they tackled everything together, from life and career changes, to setbacks, milestones, and everything in between. Almost seven years after that unforgettable “Will you be my girlfriend?” at Sunset Beach, Chris asked the bigger question at the very same spot—and Val said yes! They tied the knot on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2025, and are beyond excited to celebrate with all their favorite people at Riverbed Farm in Anaheim on September 19th, 2026!
