Pike Place Market
The quintessential Seattle experience (and site of our last pre-engagement date). See fish fly, sample bizarre fruits, recoil at the gum wall. If you haven't been, you need to go.
Franklin Falls (Easy Hike)
A relatively easy hike near Snoqualmie pass with a breathtaking waterfall. Only 2 miles roundtrip with around 800ft elevation gain. You'll need a northwest forest pass to park at the trailhead (or a local friend who already has one). Alternatively, if you're looking for a beautiful view with no hiking at all, check out Snoqualmie falls!
Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead (Medium Hike)
One of the first hikes we took together as a couple. At 4 miles roundtrip and around 1000ft of elevation gain, it's a medium-intensity hike for those who aren't afraid of heights! No parking pass needed.
Mount Si (Difficult Hike)
A challenging but iconic hike just outside Seattle. At 8 miles roundtrip and just under 4,000 feet of elevation gain, it isn't a hike for the faint of heart, but the views are worth it! You'll need a Discover pass to park at the trailhead (or a local friend who already has one).
