Is the wedding ceremony taking place at Secret Harbor Beach Resort?

No, we are having the wedding ceremony at Lindquist beach. After the ceremony, we will have shuttle for our guests to the reception at Secret Harbor Beach Resort.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Show up in your island best, finding ways to blend cocktail attire with island practicality. The ceremony will take place on the beach and the reception will take place on a covered patio and open air space Soft and bright solid colors and florals are appropriate and encouraged. Men, you can leave the jacket and tie at home. Just please no flip flops or shorts.

Places to rent or buy snorkel gear?

Answer

You can buy gear from Amazon - Cressi and Seavengers are affordable and good quality. Liz’s favorite is the Seavenger Hanalei Anti-Fog 4-Piece Snorkeling Set https://a.co/d/6ZMLsQR You can also rent gear on island from multiple spots for about 60/week from red hook dive center, coki dive center, and Cruz bay water sports. Snorkel the wet side and sapphire provisions offers delivery to your rental. Several beaches offer day use rentals as well

Do I need a passport?

Answer

A passport is not required unless you want to check out the BVI. However a passport can help speed up airport security as you go through customs upon return. If you have global entry, don’t forget to bring your card as this is one airport where you’ll need to show for to use the expedited line

What else should we bring?

Answer

Aside from your wedding attire, both islands are incredibly casual (cover ups, Birkenstocks, and swim suit are enough most days). If checking a bag, we'd recommend bringing your own reef-safe sunscreen. If hiking, we'd recommend brining a backpack and hiking sandals. We always pack our snorkels, but plenty of beaches offer rentals. A long-sleeve sun shirt also comes in handy Save the turtles and bring a re-usable water bottle and yeti cup for pool side cocktails Finally, definitely bring cash for taxis as they are cash only

How do I get from St. Thomas island to St. John?

Answer

You can take the ferry from Red hook on St. Thomas to Cruz Bay on St. John. The ferries leave every hour and take about ~20 mins and cost $16 RT. Once you arrive on St. John, taxis are lined up at the to take you the beach. There are 2 companies offering this; Sapphire provisioning and Time Saver Provisions. Order at least 48 hours in advance They also offer arrival meals
