The first shuttle up to the ceremony site (approx 1 minute drive) leaves at 2:30pm. Please plan to be at Whitney's Inn by this time to start catching shuttles up! The shuttle will pick guests up in the paved circle turnaround in front of the inn, near the lobby.
Yes! Wine, beer, and our signature cocktails will be open. Other liquor will be cash bar (card accepted).
The welcome drinks will be a cash bar. Cash or Whitney's Inn room charge only, no credit cards due to connectivity issues.
Our ceremony and part of the cocktail hour space is held outdoors (weather dependent). Ceremony is held on the hilltop of Black Mountain at our venue, where we will utilize a shuttle to get guests to/from. The reception will be inside the Shovel Handle Pub.
Yes there is ample parking at the venue, as it shares a parking lot with Black Mountain Ski Area.

We will be providing transportation within the Inn's property network (Whitneys Inn, Christmas Farm Inn, and Thorn Hill). We highly recommend staying in one of these properties, however, if you are staying outside of this network, we unfortunately cannot provide transportation to/from the venue (Whitneys Inn).
There is an outdoor pool and lawn / tanning chairs, tables. Yard games. A pond with paddle boats and fishing rods available to use. Down the street there is Jackson Falls which has great swimming holes (bring a bathing suit!). The Shovel Handle Pub is open Friday night to the public. At the sister Christmas Farm Inn down the street there is also a playground for kids, a spa, and restaurant.
We will miss you! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will Not Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" but find that you will not make it, please notify Bryan or Allie as soon as you are aware.
