Our Story
Our story began at Stroud’s Fitness—just two teens who loved weightlifting. We became fast friends, sharing equipment and motivation. What Vada didn’t know was that Colby was already falling for her. After graduation, Colby joined the Marine Corps, and Vada started college. Life brought us back together through handwritten letters and heartfelt emails. We leaned on each other during big life changes. When Colby came home on leave, we finally became an official couple. Despite distance, Vada visited him in California, and we cherished every moment. Soon after, Colby got orders to San Diego—but promised to come back for the holidays. On December 24, 2024, under the twinkling lights at DayStar, Colby asked Vada to be his forever. She said yes. From gym buddies to life partners, we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
