Train
If you don't want to rent a car, this transportation method allows you to enjoy the coast of Washington, looking towards Oregon. To get around Hood River, you will need to call a Taxi since Uber/Lyft are not allowed there. To get from Portland International Airport (PDX) to Union Station in Portland, Oregon, you can take the MAX Light Rail Red Line to the Gateway/NE 99th Transit Center, then transfer to the Green Line. (However, we suggest Ubering/Lyfting to the train station). From train station: Portland, OR - Union Station Empire Builder to To train station: Bingen, WA - Bingen - White Salmon, WA (BNG)

Please call (800)-345-1921 to make your reservation under the room block for Vachel & Nicholas' wedding. There is no code - you must call by JULY 18th, 2025. As of March 2025, rooms will show booked on Saturday 10/18 for a separate wedding. The hotel will release this room block in July to the public. So, if you plan to stay until Sunday here, you will have to call in July to extend your stay through Saturday night. We will update this page if we hear anything different from the hotel.
