FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal with a touch of hacienda elegance. The ceremony will take place in a Catholic Church, so we kindly ask that guests dress accordingly. The reception will be held primarily outdoors. For men, a formal suit (blazer) and tie is preferred. Men are also welcome to wear ranchero hats at the reception as part of their formal looks! Women are encouraged to wear long or midi-length dresses. We cannot wait to see everyone dressed to the nines!

Question

Are there any colors guests should avoid?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that guests refrain from shades of burnt orange, rust, or terracotta, as those colors are reserved for our bridesmaids. Additionally, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, or anything close to a bridal palette. Thank you for helping our wedding party stand out!

Question

What time should I arrive at the church?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive no later than 12:45pm. Mass will begin promptly at 1pm.

Question

Are phones or photos allowed in the church?

Answer

No. We kindly ask that guests please silence all cell phones and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to help keep the moment peaceful and respectful inside the church. Our professional photographer and videographer will be capturing all the special moments for you. Don't worry - there will be plenty of chances to snap photos and celebrate together during the reception!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

To create a special and intimate atmosphere, we are welcoming only the children who are specifically named on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate this joyful day with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we truly appreciate the spirit of bringing a guest, to keep our celebration intimate, the invitations are extended only to those whose names appear on them.

Question

Will there be a meal served?

Answer

A Mexican dinner will be served buffet style. Vegetarian, vegan, and shellfish allergies were considered and alternative options will be available.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We'll be hosting an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception. Guests 21 and over must provide a valid ID to be served alcohol - no exceptions. We can't wait to raise a glass and celebrate with you!

Question

How long will the event last?

Answer

The celebration will go until 11pm, with plenty of dancing, dining, and fun throughout the evening. We encourage guests to stay and enjoy every moment - we may even have a special surprise planned to make the night unforgettable!

Question

Where do I park at the Flower Fields?

Answer

Parking is complimentary. Parking is on a non- exclusive basis and shared with The Flower Fields visitors and Armstrong Garden Center customers.
