McKenzie and Austin met through mutual friends at the Cody Johnson concert, January 12, 2017. They started dating January 15 and the rest is history. Throughout the years, they have lived in Georgia and Arizona. Adopting a three year old German Shepherd, Bella in November of 2017. Austin proposed on May 9, 2020 on a family hike at Castle Wood Canyon. They have shared countless memories and can't wait to see what else God has in store for them.
