Chris and Jess met at school studying Biomedical Engineering. They became best friends spending countless hours studying, making each other laugh, and most importantly finding food to celebrate completed assignments. They kept choosing each other for group projects and realized they made a pretty good team, but tightroped the line between friendship and relationship for a while... until eventually it was so apparent why they kept choosing to spend their time together. They were in love! They continued to work side by side in the same grad school lab and then the same company (because they're practically the same person). They were blessed with the best families and friends and filled their time with them. They spent years playing sports, cooking, and traveling together. And the more they did, the more they realized they wanted to do that forever. After several freezing cold weeks last January the temperature climbed to a beautiful 32 degrees and the sun came out. Chris asked Jess to go for a walk. They met at their favorite spot at frozen Hoyt Lake and he asked her to be together forever. And now they are so excited to celebrate with you!
