Rebecca made Kaitlyn a big sister! With the five years between them, Kaitlyn remembers the first time she got to hold Rebecca. From that moment, Kaitlyn knew she had gained someone valuable in her life - a sister! They both grew up dancing, and while sharing the stage was always a joy, their car rides to and from the studio hold the most treasured conversations. Rebecca is a lover of books and walks in gentle wisdom. She is also hilarious, and laughing with Rebecca is one of Kaitlyn’s favorite pastimes.

Grant and Justin first met during the first few weeks of their Doctorate program. Little did they know they would become lifelong friends after asking to borrow a pen after class!

Natalie and Kaitlyn. By the Lord’s grace these two have known each other since they were babies! They have shared many sleepovers, summer camps, back yard tea parties, brunches, video messages, and now they even work together. It is one of Kaitlyn’s greatest joys to still call Natalie a close friend after all these years. When they get together, you can count on a heart to heart about how the Lord is growing them and working in their lives.

Drew is the final member of the “Core Four” group and it would not be the same without him (and his mustache)! Drew brings light into the darkness by finding the bright side of every situation, making us laugh and come together, and living out his faith in dedication to his wife and business in honor of the Lord.

Alex attended Belhaven University and Kaitlyn could not be more grateful! When Kaitlyn met Alex in the cafeteria line she didn’t know she was meeting one of her future roommates, a cross country road trip companion, and a loyal long distance phone caller. Alex is quite literally the brightest ray of sunshine Kaitlyn has ever met. She is naturally creative, an avid reader, and the epitome of a trustworthy friend.

Sean is member of Vertical Life church where Justin and Kaitlyn are members. He was one of the first people Justin met on his first day as a visitor and have stayed great friends ever since.

Polly and Kaitlyn spent all four years at Belhaven University as roommates, and Kaitlyn would not have had it any other way! They practically spent freshman year attached at the hip trying to figure out their new routines and make it through dance evals for the first time. Polly is sweet, hard working, talented, kind, and a skilled listener. She is there for any verbal process, even to this day, and a fierce lover of the Lord and her friends.

Aaron is also a member of Vertical Life Church and is a member of the worship team. They bond over guitar playing and swapping medical stories.

Avery and Kaitlyn lived together while at Belhaven University, but they met a few years prior at a Ballet Magnificat! summer dance intensive. The Lord bringing Avery back into Kaitlyn’s life was the sweetest gift. Avery is full of spirit and joy, finding ways to laugh at life’s challenges and give her best for the Lord’s glory. She is a roller coaster riding, ukulele playing, crafty journaling queen.

Jack is the fiancé of Kaitlyn’s younger sister Rebecca. Justin and Jack enjoy conversations about theology, nature, and movies.

Isabella Black

Isabella attended Belhaven University with Kaitlyn and they served together as officers for the dance club on campus, DOXA. Isabella is the definition of a ride or die. She is a friend that has your back and reminds you to breathe when life is stressful (like when you’re pulling an all nighter to finish a kinesiology paper). Hospitality and servitude are her close companions and these virtues make her a life long friend.
