How far are the airports from the recommended hotels?

Answer

Dulles is about 18 miles and Reagan is 29 miles from the hotels and wedding venue.

Are you having discount ride share codes?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Also, there will not be a shuttle available from any of the recommended hotels to the venue. You will either have to rely on a rental car or use Uber/Lyft.

Will there be parking onsite?

Answer

Absolutely! There should be more than enough parking to accommodate everyone.

Do we have to send gifts or will there be a gift table?

Answer

While it would be more convenient to have your gift shipped to the provided address, there will a small gift table available.

I have never been to Virginia. How should I dress?

Answer

The weather in Virginia is, well, unpreditable. September starts the fall season in Virginia, so the afternoon might still be a little humid and the nights will be cool, so wear something light and not too heavy. However, there is always a chance of sudden rains, so it would be a good idea to have an umbrella handy.

Will the wedding be children friendly?

Yes! We will have games and activities set up for the children (as well as adults) in the outside area.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The house is roughly 150 years old and to keep the integrity of the property alive, no pets are allowed.

Will I be able to smoke on the property?

Answer

No. There is no smoking on the property and there will not be a designated smoking area. The house is roughly 150 years old and they would prefer it not to burn down.
