Ustat and Jap have known each other their whole life....... they have spent almost every day growing up together and for a part of their childhood the only people they knew were each other. Through the hard times, and good times, and the times they fought with each other..... they truly are brothers from the same mother. They have as much in common as they are different, and although they like to pick on each other and have friendly competition these days, at the end of the day they have each others back.

It all started when they were 17-yrs young running like wild animals through the halls of their first year of college at Buffalo State, as if it was a scene from the National Geographic. Shofi ran up to Promita, grabbed her face, leaned in real close till their noses touched & said, "You are SO beautiful!”. That’s when Pro knew she needed Shofi’s presence in her life forever. They spent the rest of time visiting each others homes between NYC & Colorado, sharing birthdays, going hiking, white-water rafting, taking family vacations, and now planning their weddings together in the same year! Shofi was actually first to realize Ustat liked Pro more than "just friends". She even took Pro to a tarot-card reader to get her to see the signs! Fast forward 4-yrs later - she's their Maid of Honor!

From fast cars to fast friends! Ustat and Steven agree on almost everything from Cars, LA, Wine and Whiskey. But reserve the right not to argue politics! Ustat and Steven met through their love of cars, and instantly bonded. They have a friendship that stands time and distance. No matter how long they go without talking to each other, whenever they do get together, it’s like they never left and pick up right where they left off. In New York, they did everything from Rallies, Car Meets, Whiskey Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, other Shenanigans to even switching cars. When this duo is around, you know its going to be a good time!

From vacationing in Miami, road tripping to Montreal, to flying out for margarita’s in Mexico together, what haven't they done together? College friends turned Sisters (shout out Stony Brook!), these two really hit it off shortly after graduation when becoming each others plus-ones at a mutual friend's wedding. That one night quickly turned into 18 years of the best friendship. A typical day for Varsh & Pro would look like skipping out early from a baby shower in LI, to drive down to Manhattan, to get lost in the city, which would then turn into shoe shopping, followed by playing beer pong at a random bar, while also eating deep fried Oreos for the first time. Promita's best days always included Varsha, so of course she needs her best friend and Maid of Honor on her wedding day, too!

“Eddie” as Ustat calls him (you have to call him Edward though), have been friends for more than 18 years. Ustat met Eddie and his brother Henry through their dad. And what was actually supposed to be a side work project for his dad Henry, turned into a life long friendship. Ustat has spent countless birthday's, family events and holidays with Eddie and his family. They have known each other from the up's and down's and from each others moves cross country. Ustat always looks forward to when he can spend some quality time with his bro! Fun-Fact - Eddie and Ustat were only born 7 days apart from each other.

From dressing up as brides together in college to being actual brides together as grown ups! When Promita first transferred to Stony Brook University, she had never seen so many brown people in her life. While passing by a group of brown boys doing a random standing-around-and-aimlessly staring at girls, her confused flashbacks of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was suddenly interrupted as she spotted Crystal. As they introduced each other and simultaneously rolled their eyes and shook their heads to a poor pick-up line, they both knew this was a match made in girlfriend heaven! Crys & Pro instantly became the Mindy Kaling BFF friendship every brown girl needs! They locked arm in arm, laughed at each other’s sarcastic wit & walked off into the Stony Brook sunset together… to a life of true sisterhood.

Jason was one of the first friends Ustat made in Houston. And from the first time they hung out & talked IT, it was as if JavaScript and HTML were coming together to create a web app and Ustat knew they were going to be friends for the long haul. From their common interests in board games, technology, whiskey, beer and cleaning pools - its always a fun time when they all get together. Now that Jason is a new dad, Ustat is sure they will have many more things in common soon, where they continue to lean on each other!

Two girls from two different parts of the world (India & USA), sharing the same birthday, same experiences and same mindset somehow crossed paths to grow through some of life’s biggest challenges together. Shivalika has always seen Promita as a big-sister who remained close from Houston to New York. Now they are also neighbors finally living in the same city together! Both Shiva and her husband Jason (Groomsman) welcomed Promita and Ustat with open arms and made them feel at home as they settled into their new city of Houston. Shiva's daughter also loves her Promita aunty! Shiva is the sweetest and most loyal friend who you can always depend on. She's down for anything from a day out on the town or a night in for cooking, watching scary movies or relaxing by the pool!

Yau! Is the definition of a solid friend. Always there to support you and share in your happiness and in your sadness! Perfect buddy to share a glass of whiskey with and talk about your day! Ustat and Yau (as Steve's friends call him) have spent many days pondering life together over a glass of whiskey. In-fact the day that Promita landed back from Colorado, (right before they started dating), Ustat was out with Yau at a wine bar, enjoying glass of wine and some pasta. And it was that moment as they were pondering life that Ustat decided to just go for it and ask Promita out for dinner that same night (2nd dinner for Ustat). And now here we are celebrating what started that evening and grew to be something so special.

Who said you can’t meet life long friends in the middle of a gym locker room on a random hot Saturday afternoon? That’s exactly how Erica met Pro, 10 years ago, while working as a personal trainer at the same gym Promita went to during a brief stay in Houston. As someone who once experienced being alone in a new city, Erica decided to pay it forward and show her new friend around town! Since then, they were Soul-Sisters! From flying across the country to visit each other, to rescuing each other during times of distress, to 4-hr long phone calls or being there for new marriages, new careers & new babies. Their friendship is pure destiny. Or what they like to call, “Big Magic”. If you ever need advice on a good book, good drinks or good real estate - Erica is your girl!

From crazy Nashville nights to cruises on his boat! “Dr. Steve” as Ustat calls him, is a the life of the party and a true southern gentleman. Ustat and Steve met each other at a neighbors party in their apartment building in Nashville. Dr. Steve had also moved to Nashville around the same time and from the moment they started the conversation, Steve made Ustat feel welcome. Southern hospitality was a real thing - they became friends instantly. Dr. Steve has a big heart and treats his friends like family. If you are lucky enough to be a friend of Dr. Steve there is nothing he wont do to make sure you know you are family.

Sujan is Promita's cousin, and the cousin everyone wishes they had. Sujan has been an inspiration to Ustat, from his hard work ethic, striving to be better, learning and growing in his career, all while supporting a family. He is not only the one of the best cousin's he is also a super dad and the perfect Instagram / Tik Tok husband. He always knows how to lighten up the room or capture that moment in a perfect picture. He is supportive, aspirational and really a blessing for anyone whose life he touches.
