His Story I believe our first conversation started by my making fun of her hometown without fully knowing she was from there (to be fair, I had just started adjusting to the mass amount of texans present at the U of A). Nonetheless, we found ourselves in an unending conversation that night and quickly became friends. Getting to know her that first semester of college is a memory I'll cherish forever. Throughout the course of our time together, we bonded through coffee dates, listening to John Mark McMillan, and exploring the nature of the Ozark mountains. Fayetteville had quickly become my home. And more importantly, I felt at home with Elizabeth. I found an extraordinary thing in Elizabeth - a courageous, bold, intelligent, strong woman who loved me with abandon. She was a special gift that I didn't even know I could ask for. Yet, God placed our lives together to love one another and all people recklessly. And we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate this love with our amazing friends & family. Her Story Gabe and I met in January of our freshman year at the U of A. We had been introduced by a mutual friend one night, and after talking for a little while, I was quickly drawn to Gabe. His character stood out to me from the start. He was easy to get to know, his heart was evident in all the things he did, and his intentions were clear. We started dating quickly and spent almost every day together that spring semester. After spending twelve weeks apart our first summer, but most nights on the phone, my heart grew closer to his. We came back for our sophomore year, and I knew I was so in love with him. Throughout college, Gabe has loved me when I am at my worst and has celebrated with me at my best. I have learned so much through the nurturing, kind-hearted, and patient person that he is. He is truly the best part of me. I am so honored that the Lord chose me to be his wife, and I can’t wait for the many adventures to come.
