Elias moved to O'ahu with his family in 2013. A year later in 2014, we started talking to each other on a dating app. Fun fact: Karla sent a dm to Elias first. There was just something about seeing a profile photo of him posing like a total nerd in front of a classic car that made her want to go, "Oh! This guy's pretty cute." She sends him a message, "Hey, cutie!"... and of course, Elias took the bait because "no girl EVER messaged him first". Haha! Welcome to our forever.
