We're Getting Married!

We're counting the days until we celebrate our new beginnings with you! Hopefully you've received your formal invitation by now and are getting as excited as we are! You'll find most information you'll need for the weekend on this site. We'll post a few updates before the wedding so please make sure to check back prior to your travel date. We can't wait to see you!

2/22/17 - Usheema reluctantly joins match.com 2/23/17 - Bennie begins his hot pursuit of Usheema and floods her inbox :) 2/24/17- Usheema and Bennie talk on the phone, Usheema suggests meeting for coffee for a "first date" but Bennie insists on brunch, making it crystal clear that she won't just blow him off over coffee! 2/26/17 - Usheema and Bennie meet for brunch at The Sun Dial restaurant in downtown Atlanta. Ben knew instantly he'd FINALLY met his wife! After roughly 30 minutes into brunch, Usheema had a "JONES" for Bennie and she knew he was the one!

We began looking for rings the first few months of dating, however, by the end of summer, the hunt ceased and we really didn't talk much more about rings. I (Usheema) hosted Thanksgiving dinner for both of our families with roughly 35 guests. As the family circled to bless the food, Ben stepped out of the circle to thank everyone for coming, began telling our love story then surprisingly dropped to his knee to ask me to be his wife! Not only was I in tears, so was both of our entire families! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Cancun!
