Suggested dress codes are listed under each event in the schedule. These are just for fun and to add to the vibe — absolutely optional! Please don’t stress if you don’t have something specific; your presence is what matters most. Don’t have Indian attire? No worries at all — just come in your best dress or suit, whatever makes you feel great!
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you wish to honor us with a gift, we kindly request no boxed gifts, as we have chosen not to create a wedding registry.
Typically around this time in Cancun, average high temperatures are a pleasant 84 degrees with average lows around 67F. Of course weather can be unpredictable but we are hoping for clear, sunny skies!
We have a mix of outdoor and indoor locations for our events!
Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires more than 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.
While most destination wedding guests choose to stay 5-7 nights when flying to Mexico, we understand there may be certain limiting factors. Unfortunately, group discounts are only valid on a minimum of 3 night stays. If you absolutely must stay 2 nights, please contact us at support@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you. Booking through Shaadi Destinations allows for certain group benefits to be conveyed and allows for the best rate possible.
Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best.
Indian weddings are typically grand affairs that last several days. While each region has its own unique traditions, the overall experience is similar—expect a lively celebration full of color, music, dancing, and delicious food. Close family and friends may take part in the ceremonies, while most guests are simply there to relax and enjoy the festivities.
