They say timing is everything and they might have a point. We met in high school at sixteen years old. We had mutual friends, ran in the same circle, but couldn't say we were friends. After graduation we would occasionally bump into each other, share some drinks, laughs, and go our own way. Ironically, we always ended up celebrating important milestones together. May 2016, a big day in baseball culture, Angels vs Dodgers! Per tradition our mutual friend (ALEX) set up the tailgate party. This year was at the Angel stadium! Raquel was running late and Jose was ready to leave without her. Luckily, she got there right before Jose's patience ran out! Talk about timing! The night went on eventfully. Jose was happy because the Angels won 8-1. Raquel was not, but a few margaritas fixed that! The night ended at Alberts with everyone agreeing to meet in San Diego. May 21, 2016, we all met in San Diego for a Dodgers vs Padres game. We cheered hard but Dodgers still lost. It was rough week for the Dodgers! After the game we party in downtown. In the mist of if all the chaos Jose asked Raquel to go out. Raquel responded Yes! We should all hang out! Jose quickly clarified, No, I want to take you on a date and kissed her. It was after that kiss when everything started to change. As you all might guessed, Raquel went on that date and that date went really, really well! Everything after that just became part of their story!
