Once upon a time, not-so-long-ago, Uri decided he was ready to take Beyoncé’s advice and “put a ring on it.” Unbeknownst to his soon-to-be fiancé, Uri secretly picked out a ring (with the wise guidance of his sister) and talked to Dad Lapic in March. In April, Uri told Leah he wanted to get married in 2022. It true Leah form, she romantically responded “ummm… that means that we have a LOT of planning to do” and promptly got on a computer to search for rings. After scouring the internet and only finding 2 rings she liked, they planned a date to go ring shopping in May… in MAY, PEOPLE! Fast forward 2 weeks to a perfect April afternoon. Uri and Leah joined their friends for a fantastic day of wine-tasting, hilarity and a tour of Schenbly’s Winery. Many drinks were had and pictures were taken. They ended by the gorgeous entrance of the winery - the last chance for pictures! It was right there that Uri surprised the heck out of Leah by dropping down on one knee and said he wanted to spend forever with her. He presented her with the very ring she has picked out just 2 weeks earlier (which he had picked out and purchased back in March). Leah said yes to the man of her dreams and promised to love him forever. There were many hugs, many happy tears, beautiful (and ridiculous) pictures taken. It was a day that we will both treasure forever.
