We met in October of 2022 at Fort Lee, Virginia! We quickly became great friends and eventually went on our first date in January. After agreeing that we had something special growing, we ultimately decided to date long distance after leaving Fort Lee! For 2.5 years, we flew back and forth between Roanoke, the Twin Cities, and Philadelphia. Through the years, Jackie learned all about hockey, hot dishes, and of course the Minnesota snow. More importantly, Teddy learned to never break spaghetti in half while in the presence of an Italian. On July 4th, 2025, we had plans for a picnic at a park in Philly. After finding the perfect spot to set up (and the photographer), Teddy got down on one knee and proposed! We shared a bottle of champagne and the rest is history!
