Matron of Honor

My Matron of Honor is my oldest sister, Anesha! This decision was so easy for me, who better to be there by my side helping me navigate this crazy beautiful journey to marriage than my God given best friend! We share a love of SpongeBob, the 90's, Sour Patch Kids, and family! My sister is kind, gentle, hilarious, loving and has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She also has the voice of an absolute angel and is an amazing mother to my beautiful niece, Izabella, and my handsome nephew, Braxton Jon. She is the best sister and the best MOH... I can't wait to say "I do" right beside her!

First time we hung out, we were best friends right off the bat! He texted me after a football game we all hung out at and said “yo this is dj cavity, save this number”. From rapping at football games, to getting 89 cent bean beef burritos, to working together and just being there for each other through it all. There's never a dull moment with us. The bond we've created over the years can never be broken no matter what and I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side. He's the craziest, most fearless, funniest guy I know. Wouldn't be me without him. My twin brother. "To family!" TDFL JTSOE!

My Maid of Honor is my dearest cousin, Kaylynn! Kaylynn is one of my older cousins on my mom's side and has been my bestest friend for my whole life! (with the exception of the time she tried to kill me with a Cheetoh, but that's another story) Kaylynn and I are partners in crime at every family function, share a deep love for Holden Beach, NC, have all the inside jokes and are just complete weirdos when together. She is a cake/dessert making queen, funny as all get out, loves like no other and is the perfect person to be my MOH!

Keston (Kessypoo) Bartholomew

Best Man

The man that introduced me to Sidney. The one person that always has my back and has been in my life for huge milestones. I couldn’t have done college without this dude. Some of my favorite memories are from that time! We were inseparable. This guy is the most encouraging and supportive jerk of a friend I've ever had. He's helped me over come so many things, as I have for him. His family has always been like a second family to me. From Walter/Telford days to our first apartment, we've had some good times living together. Couldn't imagine my day without my brother by my side!

Aubry is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Although we went to the same schools and grew up in the same town, Aubry and I didn't officially meet until after high school, my freshman year of college in 2011. I was introduced to her through mutual friends and looking back now, little did I know what crazy beautiful things lay ahead for us as friends. Since, our friendship has become an unbreakable bond. We have been through so many highs and so lows together and have some of the more unforgettable memories. Aubry is unique, wise, passionate, hysterical, wild and a lover of life. She is my Aries twin and I couldn't walk down the aisle without her!

From being stars on the big stage to doing nothing at his house all day and having a blast. I've never been so weirdly close with someone in my life, we have the same crazy sense of humor that no one else gets. No matter how much time goes by without seeing one another, it still feels like we haven't skipped a beat. Nothing can beat all those times cruising to Rabbit Hash in the FJ back in the day. Now here we are all grown and getting married. He's one of the smartest, goofiest, talented guys I know and the best dog dad. Had to have my brother with me on my day! JTSOE!

Mariah Poindexter

Mariah is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Mariah and I go pretty far back, somewhere around '09/'10, but it honestly feels like we've known each other our whole lives. We love like sisters... and we fight like em, too! I truly wouldn't have it any other way. There isn't a thing we wouldn't do for one another and when we're together it's nothing but laughter. From the days of blaring Nicki Minaj up and down the roads of Jco to the fateful night she introduced me to my now Fiancé, Sam. Mariah holds such a special place in my heart, in my love story and now my wedding. She is ridiculously funny, hardworking, crazy, beautiful and the best time. She's my MG2 and the perfect person to call my bridesmaid!

Eddie, my big brother! I envied him so much growing up, wanting to be and dress just like him! Now that we're grown, he physically has to look up to me (lol), yet I continue to look up to him as I go through life. He really is the coolest older brother a guy could ask for and has helped me grow up to be the man I am today with tough love. He's the best dad to my nephew and a master craftsman, jack of all trades, just like Dad. The older we get, we keep getting closer and I couldn't get married without him!

Amanda is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Amanda and I have known each other for what seems like forever. We are both Drake and Bieber loving Wilmore kids who have a rich friendship built from years of shared experiences and memories that I cherish very much. Amanda is genuine, driven, hilarious and one of the most unique and lovable people I know. She has never met a stranger and I love that about her! Every time we're together it's all laughs. I know I can always be the weirdest version of myself with her and she will not only accept, but reciprocate. I couldn’t imagine this day without her light and can’t wait to add it to our list of shared memories!

I've never considered David my brother in law because we are so much closer than that. We are like actual brothers. Some of my favorite memories are coming home from school and going straight upstairs to hang with him and tell him literally everything about my day and life. He's the best Dad to two of my best friends, my niece and nephew, and is the worlds most creative person, like crazy creative. He can learn everything about something and become a master at it overnight. He puts up with my weirdness and I truly am blessed to have you as a brother!

Gabriella Turpin

Gabriella is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Gabriella and I go way back as well. From Wilmore days to both being dancers at JSCD and people mistaking us for sisters all through school, to being roomies in college (417 forever!), our friendship started all those years ago and has grown into one of my most cherished friendships! Gabriella is loyal, funny and SO talented. I look forward to every show she stars in! No matter how much time passes, we always continue to support each other through life's biggest moments. She helped make my engagement possible and I just know she will make my big day complete!

From "getting" Wendy's double stacks to rapping and acting a fool in drama class, he has truly become one of my best friends for life. Casey is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Without going into detail, Case and I have been through so much and share many amazing memories. Our friendship has truly matured into something to be thankful for! From meeting back in our courtyard runnin' days, to becoming the best of friends and living at my moms together, to spending some time apart only to come back together proving that our friendship could withstand anything. Casey has since brought into the world two beautiful baby girls who I consider my non biological nieces! Casey is also an amazing artist whose talents produce the most beautiful works of art. She is strong, talented, kind and I can't wait to share this day with her!

My best friend that I butt heads with the most, we got each other through those crazy freshman and sophomore years of college! Living the dorm life with him was not only a challenge, but the most fun I had college. Some of the best memories I have! Marcus was actually there the first time I ever met Sidney and little did we know that girl we shared the back seat with would one day be my wife. You are a very driven individual, the life of any party, and can put up a fight in any roast battle. He's a real genuine dude and having him there by me on my big day means a lot!

Jordan is one of my bridesmaids and very best friends! Jordan and I met at good ole JJ's aka Jimmy Johns! We started working together there while I was in college and she was finishing up high school. Once she graduated and started at UK we decided to live together and she was my very first roommate! Oh what a time living together at RedMile was! Our friendship really strengthened there and she quickly became my best friend and very much like a younger sister. Jordan was there for the early years of Sam and I dating and was there for me for everything. I was living with her when Sam first said "I love you" and I will always remember that! Jordan is hilarious, thoughtful and I know we will be friends for life. I just knew I needed her by my side when saying "I do!"

My favorite thing to do to Billy is showing him how a real little brother acts. He is truly the funniest person. Every conversation we have, whether it's serious or not, he finds some way to make everyone in the room laugh. He is gifted in so many ways, freakishly smart and loves my sister unconditionally which makes him the best in my book. Its crazy how long we've known each other, he has become family to me. Having him in my wedding was a no brainer!
