It all began under the glow of stadium lights on a dusty softball field; a last-minute player, a casual introduction, and a spark waiting to catch. Zach stepped in to fill a spot but soon found a place in something much more. From friendly sand volleyball games, joining Unique's softball team, our worlds kept weaving together. Laughter came easy, the teasing was effortless, and our shared moments spilled beyond the field - late night Taco Bell runs, gym sessions, and quiet conversations that lingered. Then one evening, over a lighthearted game of beer pong, something shifted. A glance, a laugh, a feeling - and in that moment, we both felt it; the beginning of something real. Zach knew Unique was truly special when even Smokey, the famously standoffish family cat, cozied up to Uni without hesitation, as if giving her silent approval and playing the unexpected role of wingman.
