Wedding Party

Chester Cramer

Best Man

Dustin and Chester have been friends since they met during high school, where they bonded over gaming and quests to find collectors' memorabilia. Nowadays they travel together as much as they can and are always on the lookout for new places to use their skills as amateur restaurant critics. But their favorite pastime by far is participating as a pair in trivia tournaments under the team name 'Captain and Crew' and enjoying the spoils of their victories against much larger teams.

Brie Knepper

Matron of Honor

As soon as Amanda and Brie spotted each other knitting at an event at the Potomac Fish & Game Club (a.k.a "the river"), they immediately knew they were meant to be best friends. Several years and countless knit nights later, they have grown to be more like sisters and have shared so much life together. Even on the night of her first date with Dustin, Amanda went straight to Brie's house afterward to fill her in on how it went - and for their traditional Thanksgiving Eve viewing of "Christmas Vacation".

David Gaston

Groomsman

Dustin and David met in their church's young adult group where they first bonded over being the two 'old fogies' of the group. Their friendship continued to grow - just like their beards that they frequently compared. The two of them now work together in the A/V room during some Sunday services. Outside of church, they always enjoy grabbing food together and planning game nights.

Katie Ruddiman

Bridesmaid

One their first day at Gettysburg College, Amanda and Katie met during their freshmen dorm's orientation. They quickly bonded over a love of games, which led to many late nights of playing cards on the floor of their freshman hall. Amanda has said (only slightly jokingly) that without Katie's friendship and support at the start of college, she probably would have panicked and dropped out of school within the first week. Also she would likely still be refusing to eat vegetables - it was Katie's phenomenal cooking skills that helped her see they can actually be quite delicious.

Michael Gower

Groomsman

As Amanda's older brother, Michael has always given Dustin an incredibly hard time and made sure he knew exactly what would happen if his little sister was ever hurt. Just kidding - Michael is the nicest guy on the planet and an awesome brother. He and Dustin have bonded over movies, anything with a motor, and good-naturedly picking on Amanda at every opportunity.

Jessica Gower

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Jessica became fast friends as soon as her brother first introduced Jessica to the family as his girlfriend. Once they officially became sisters-in-law (and her brother got used to his sister's annoyingly frequent visits to his house just to hang out with his wife) Jessica and Amanda love their marathons of favorite TV shows, baking parties, and coffee dates.

Maverick Cramer

Ring Bearer

Son of the best man, Maverick is one of the coolest toddlers you could ever hope to meet. Dustin is already training him for trivia tournaments and can't wait until he is old enough to join his father and Dustin in their travels.

Natalie Knepper

Junior Bridesmaid

Daughter of the matron of honor and Amanda's goddaughter, Natalie is one of the sweetest and funniest seven year olds around. She and her "Bamanda" have bonded over games, story times, walks around their shared hometown, and their annual watching of the town fireworks from Natalie's front yard.

Grant Gower

Bridal Announcer

You may or may not see Amanda's adorable nephew at the ceremony depending on when he decides he wants his nap on the wedding day. But you will definitely see - and hear - Grant celebrating at the reception, especially if the music includes selections from Frozen II (his favorite thing to sing along to) or if he gets a chance to give the Dustin's beard a good congratulatory tug (his favorite thing to do as soon as he see his soon-to-be-uncle).

Claire Gower

Flower Girl

If you've talked to Amanda for more than three minutes anytime in the past four years, chances are that you've heard a story about her niece. Claire gave Amanda her favorite nickname of 'Aunt Mia' and has come up with a few names for the groom as well, including 'Mike', 'Dusty the Dinosaur' (with an accompanying song), and finally settling on 'Uncle Dusty' before the couple were even engaged - but only after accepting that she couldn't marry Dustin herself.
