Travel

The Wedding Website of Sara Osborne and Jack Morris
Florence has an international airport, Aeroporto di Firenze Amerigo Vespucci, located in the center of Florence. To our knowledge there are no direct flights to Florence, there are one stop routes that stop in places like Munich or Paris. If you want non stop, you can fly into Rome, Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and take the fast train, Trenitalia (Frecciarossa) from Rome to Florence. Tickets are as low as $20 per person and the trains are extremely nice and clean! You can find train tickets on ItaliaRail.com or Trenitalia.com For lodging, we HIGHLY recommend using AirBnB or VRBO's. For location, we recommend finding something in north central, central, or south of Florence. We will have pick up points for the day of wedding to meet at for transportation to the venue that will be in a handful of locations around Florence. Florence is not too big, so really any area is fine. Below are some recommended hotels from our planner.
