One of our greatest loves is traveling the world together, so we always imagined our wedding somewhere new! We explored many islands and gave it a lot of thought, and St. Kitts checked all of our boxes. We are so happy that we've found a place, and we're even happier that you are involved! Our family and friends mean the world to us, and we are so excited that you're taking this journey with us (literally!)
We certainly understand that we are asking a lot from our guests to travel to another country to celebrate our wedding. Please know that whether you decide to attend our wedding or not, your continued love and support mean the world to us. Thank you!
We started to write an intricate story of how we met and everything in between then and now. Then we realized they limit us to 2000 characters, so here's an 1850 word summation told from Nick's point of view Nov 11, 2015: The Bills were playing a Thursday night game against the Jets in NJ. Elizabeth went through her entire phone to see who she could go with because all of her friends were going. Enter me! All my friends were going too, and I had nothing else to do. So I bought two tickets and told her to meet me at my tailgate. It rained, the Bills won, we hit it off, and she bought me and her friends a $120 Uber from Newark to the Lower East Side of Manhattan because the line for the train was too long. Winter 2016: A romance began over the next few months. She was probably using me for a place to crash in between trips (great location near the J train, no big deal). Eventually, I deleted all of my dating apps and things were serious. March 2016: Our First trip together! Las Vegas (during March Madness - sucker!!) January 2017: Our respective leases were near the end. I lived in the Lower East Side and Liz was in Astoria. So guess where we moved... We have a nice place in Astoria with washer/dryer and great subway access! 2017-2019: We traveled the world, met new friends, and became closer each day. We got to know each other more and grew our love. Each of our families welcomed us with open arms. March 2019: It was time to buy a ring! It took a lot of deception and help to hide everything from Liz - including a 1 day round trip flight to Rochester to ask her parents for their blessing, and a 1 day round trip by her mom to fly the ring to NYC just in time for our trip to Disney World. Her cousins work for Disney so I enlisted them for help and guidance. They set up a tour of her favorite ride: The Tower of Terror. Much to Liz's surprise, I got on one knee and she said YES! Feb 2020: We want to celebrate our wedding with you in St.Kitts!
