We're Getting married!

We were initially introduced by Jessica Hart (bridesmaid), as she is from New Orleans and knew Jeremy in high school. We were acquaintances freshmen and sophomore year of college. At the start of junior year, Tri Delta was hosting a date party, so I asked Jeremy as my date on a whim. We actually got to know each other at the date party and have been together ever since!

We were long distance, as I, Shelby, was in fieldwork and Jeremy was in his 2nd year of medical school in New Orleans. Jeremy, with the help of Sydney, planned a surprise trip to St. Louis for the proposal. I was under the assumption that I was going to dinner with my dad and sister on Main Street in St. Charles. Walking up from the parking lot, Jeremy was standing on the corner, which was a big surprise. I was speechless and had no clue about the surprise. Jeremy then got down on one knee and I said yes! We were then joined by my dad and sister and Jeremy's parents and brother, as they flew in for the surprise. The proposal was uniquely "us" and perfect for the timing.
