Brianna and Umair met at a Halloween party that Brianna was invited to by a university friend. Brianna went with Cecilia (her bridesmaid!) and was dressed as a pilot. Umair was there with some friends (including Ramail, his best man!) and he was dressed as a lumberjack. Umair asked Brianna to dance and Brianna asked for Umair's number after. The rest is history!

During their vacation to Maui, Umair took Brianna to White Rock beach. They walked alongside one another in the sand until Umair stopped and started to give Brianna items he'd been collecting since they'd known one another. One of those items included a pencil he had kept from one of their first dates at a mini-golf course. Umair then got down on one knee and asked Brianna to be his wife, and she said 'yes!'. The moment was captured by a surprise photographer watching us from the bushes. We're so excited to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Jose!
