Things To Do

The Wedding Website of James Lee Hardy III and Sara Lynn Ulschmid
If you’re making the trip to celebrate with us, we hope you’ll also take time to explore this incredible corner of Idaho. Come for the wedding, stay for the adventure!

Hells Canyon

Adventure seekers, this one’s for you. Hells Canyon is North America’s deepest river gorge—yes, even deeper than the Grand Canyon. Carved by the Snake River, it offers stunning scenic views and opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking, whitewater rafting, and jet boating. The area is full of wildlife such as deer, elk, and bighorn sheep, and also contains ancient pictographs highlighting its cultural history. The canyon is best experienced from the seat of one of the many jet boat operators in the Lewis & Clark Valley. We hope you'll join us for this adventure on Sunday!

Fishing

For those who love to cast a line, Lewiston is a dream destination. With the Snake and Clearwater Rivers meeting right in town, you’ll find some of the best salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon fishing in the country. Even if you’re new to fishing, local guides can help you get out on the water for an unforgettable day.

Lewis & Clark

If history is more your pace, this region is rich with stories. In 1805, Lewis and Clark journeyed through the Bitterroot Mountains and into the valleys here on their path to the Pacific. Today, museums and interpretive centers share their remarkable journey—and give you a sense of just how wild and inspiring this land was (and still is).
