Matron of Honor
Kacie and I met in college, both on our way to becoming the premier occupational therapists that we are :) I am honorary auntie to her two beautiful children. Kacie has always been the one in my life to push me just outside of my comfort zone. She helped me sign up for this journey of online dating that ultimately led me to Ben. She is my true partner in crime (ask us about how we had to break into our apartment one night :))
Best Man
Fritz is a real man's man a real guy's guy and he has been my best-friend dating back since the early days of Sunday school at church. He is a farmer by trade but has recently begun a new venture as part of an emerging maple syrup conglomerate. We have had more than our fair shares of adventures and even have the skid marks by the courthouse to prove it. Fritz has always been someone that I have been able to count on for anything at anytime in my life. I can't wait to celebrate our big day with him by my side, and I promise we will do our best to stay out of trouble.
Bridesmaid
Amanda is my longest friend. We met at summer camp before 5th grade and then happened to be in the same class. Moving around so much I never thought I would be able to say I have had a friend for over 20 years and I am blessed it is this girl. She has also been "team Ben" from before day one, encouraging me to respond to this man's sweet email. What did I have to lose? She of course needs to be standing up next to us on the big day! She is my beach angel, universe guiding friend and I still remember her home phone number :)
Groomsman/ Master of the Foddrangle
Mike and I met at a Swamp party at Indiana Beach in the early 2000's one faithful night and have been friends ever since. We have been roommates numerous times from the Kohler house, PopUp Camper, and all the way down to B-Town. I am willing to bet I have seen more sunsets and sunrises on consecutive days with Mike than anyone including his wife. One of my favorite times was a party in Bloomington while Mike was in the zone he requested to be known as Mike Jackson as he moonwalked around the room.
Bridesmaid
Alison and I met after I had worked at my current job for about a year. Everyone who meets us thinks we have known each other forever. They call us the "twins". She is definitely someone that fate brought into my life. I am blessed to be honorary auntie to her sweet girl and soon to be baby boy! We hope to always live across the street from each other and vow never to let Pinterest ruin our friendship!
Groomsman/ Sergeant at Arms
Kenny and I started off as bitter rivals as he grew up on the wrong side of Pulaski County. We competed against each other through our high school careers, but finally put the rivalry aside once our paths crossed at Indiana Beach. Kenny is a master of GWENT and other Witcher mini games. He is our IGL and can always keep the troops in line and moving towards the objective. Kenny learned all of his leadership skills through his time as starting tight end for the University of Texas, El Paso, but that was a long time ago.
Flower Girl
Sloane is my honorary niece number 1! She is Kacie's oldest and holds such a special place in my heart. She is one cool 5 year old. Loves to ski, mountain bike, ride horses, and play with her brother. Kacie and I have been planning for her flower girl role for years, can't wait to see her in her pretty dress!
Groomsman/Master of Walking on Broken Glass
Ben has been my friend for the better part of a decade and we have already had a lifetime's worth of great times. Ben is currently closing in on a Guinness World Record for the number weddings he has been apart of. That record truly speaks to what a great person and friend he is to those that know him best. Ben has also been called the song bird of his generation if there is music playing you can be sure Ben is singing and dancing right along.
Flower Girl
Edith and I are lucky enough to live across the street from each other. Our summers together are something I would never give up. Edith is being raised by one strong female, and we can already see that Edith is learning from example. That girl is writing one great life story so far. I love her fiercely.
Ring Bearer
Joe is the nephew of the groom and he is ready to tear up the dance floor at the wedding! Joe is not only serving as Ring Bearer for the wedding he is also going to be serving as tech support for the audio/visual teams on site. Joe loves visiting Disney World and visiting his pals Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear.
Ring Bearer
Brooks may not look like his picture when you see him, as he is quickly growing and changing! This little boy stole my heart when I met him. You had to work for his smiles, and now they are a plenty! He is one happy boy and I can't wait to have him part of the day.
