Woodbury Common Outlets are only a 5 minute drive from the Hampton Inn Harriman Woodbury hotel, and a 10 minute drive from Arrow Park mansion.
New Paltz is a cute town with a lot of little shops and great restaurants. Kristen grew up 10 minutes outside of New Paltz, and when we come to visit some of our favorite spots are P&G's Restaurant and Bar for lunch, The Bakery for cookies, Huckleberry for drinks, Cocoon for unique home finds and Waterstreet Market. If you decide to visit, be sure to also take a stroll down Huguenot Street, which has some beautiful homes from the 1600s.
If you are looking for the perfect spot to hike and see some beautiful Fall foliage, we highly recommend Minnewaska. There are some trails, and also some advanced hiking spots, with beautiful waterfalls, and stunning Hudson Valley views.
If you are looking to explore nature trails closer to the hotel and mansion, Harriman State Park is only a 20 minute drive. The park has lakes, reservoirs, hiking trails, and of course endless views of gorgeous Autumn leaves.
