while helping with Cleveland State's Hockey team (where half the wedding party was established) Bry was cleaning up pucks with her best friend, and one of her matrons of honor, Lindsey, who also assisted with the team. Jake being Jake was taking his grand old time with a few of the other players, one of them being Brendan (Mac), who's now a groomsman, and the girls wanted to go home (Park Tavern). So Bry being Bry started yelling at the few that were left to leave. Well, to make it "easier" for the girls to clean up, Jake decided to "sauce" a few pucks to the boards... one went through the open doors and hit Bry straight in the ankle, which then bruised immediately, and she started crying (typical). Jake skated over so fast and started apologizing (while also laughing) but did give her a big hug. From there, Bry was obviously hooked and their friendship eventually (slowly, but surely) turned into the beautiful, awesome relationship they have now. All the friends, family, laughs, animals, and love they share is together and that really is something amazing.
