Matron of Honor
Aka Gwuuu! I met Pam in highschool, Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls and she was a year ahead of me. Our relationship blossomed years later after college when we started working. We both met again at the airport on our way to Adannaya’s wedding in Maryland and that was the best wedding experience ever. Pam is very organized and tidy with sprinkles of crazy! We share all that in common. When we are together we transition to 5 year olds and have the best time! She is one friend I can chase around the kitchen counter lol, I absolutely love her company. Pam is the true definition of a rider! She’s sunshine to be around and a full time happy girl. Pam is resourceful and a helper. She is someone you can deeply depend on and will show up for you with no excuses. A lot of times I feel we are the same person because we are soo alike. Pam is my second Maid of Honor because I trust her to take very good care of me on my very special day!
Matron of Honor
Aka Grengz! I met Chichi in college at 16 in the University of Lagos campus on my freshman year at our hostel. Our relationship blossomed when we realized we were always happy to see each other and have a great laugh every single time! I also noticed we loved to party (of course at that age) and enjoyed eating good food, our fave then was Shawama. My favorite memories with Chichi are from our crazy ride adventures (I am a typical Lagos driver) to crying together and when we reunited in TX after so many years. I also cherish when I finally met her Children. One thing I love about Chichi is how peaceful she is and easy to love.. she is the quintessential Soft Life Queen. Chichi is my maid of honor because “Duh” lol.. but she is my 1am call or my go to for advice and an amazing gentle listener. She is not judgmental and always provides comfort. She will always have my back.. she’s a rider! Grengz is my maid of honor on my very special day.
Bridesmaid
Aka Peenieeta! Anita is my younger sister’s (Ola) best friend I am actively stealing because she is a sweetheart! We met in high school and one thing that drew me closer to her was her absolute devotion and love for my sister. She was always by her side and is her favorite person in the world! She visited our home in Sugar Land some years back and we bonded. After that, I could not believe how much we had in common. Anita reminds me of strength, resilience and courage. She is kind, a giver and an all round solid person. I love her because she is always happy to help and fun to be around. Anita is that sister friend every girl needs in her life. We always say she is our fourth sister because we are that close. Anita is my bridesmaid because I know she will always always have my back.
Bridesmaid
Aka “J thee Body”! Jaiye is my oldest friend in life! We met in K Kotun Memorial Primary School at like 6 years old. Through our friendship our Mothers and Sisters became best friends. We reunited years later after her Sister’s wedding in DC. Our relationship blossomed when she moved to Houston Tx, and we have not looked back ever since! Jaiye is the definition of a helper. She is the friend that bought me my first Bible as an adult! She is prayerful and very hardworking. My best habits are influenced from her. I feel blessed to have her by my side and happy we are still great friends! Jaiye is one of my bridesmaids because I cannot imagine her not being by my side on my big day.
Bridesmaid
Aka Laurristic the Fashionista! I met Laura through my great friend Ifeoma. We met when I recently moved to the US and hit it off right away. Laura is that friend that teaches you patience, that Gods time and serving the Lord will always get you to where you need to be. Laura is that friend that takes you to church and makes sure you get to bible study as well. She is my favorite brunch partner and we love to laugh, eat and gist! Laura is also that friend your on the phone with all day on a lazy weekend. My fondest memory with Laura was when she went with me to get Chidis wedding band at DY and she was as excited as I was and celebrated that moment with me. Laura will be my bridesmaid on my special day because she is one of my best and will make sure I’m good.
Bridesmaid

I met Uju in college, a friend introduced us and I told her we would be great friends” she laughed and thats how we have been ever since. We had the best time in college and shared a lot of memories from playing basketball which we both love, to listening to music! Uju is that friend that all your family members know and love…My fondest memories apart from college was when we went on a roadtrip to my sister Ada’s wedding in 2011 with Modupe, Ola and Troy! We had the best time ever! Her cousins are also very dear friends of mine. I love how Uju gently listens and always supports no matter what. She loves to laugh and we do that every single time we meet. Uju will be my bridesmaid at my wedding and I cant wait to share this special day with her.
Bridesmaid
Aka Mo Fire! I met maureen in secondary school. We were best friends early on and we grew up together in a-lot of ways. Maureen and I have stuck together through thick and thin, and wherever we are in the world we constantly stay in touch. She is my person and is someone who knows me completely. We have lived together and share a lot of memories, but the best one was when we made a pact at the Palms one evening while we were having the best time with friends, to always be friends and make sure our kids are best of friends too! I’m happy to say, we are on our way to that great promise. Maureen is loving, brave and strong. A prayer warrior that works hard and is resilient. Maureen is my bridesmaid on my special day because I need her by my side and love that I will be sharing this day with her.
Best Man
“Man in case!” What can I say, this guy has been an integral part of my life since primary school in Nigeria. Through every phase of my life's journey, this guy has always been a constant. I remember vividly the night prior to his exit from Nigeria, while I was at his parents place. I fought very hard not to show any emotions that night. However, in the taxi on my way back home, I let it all out! Fate brought us back together in the US. A born leader, one word that comes to mind anytime I think of this guy is loyalty.
Groomsman
Extremely smart, creative (one of the best naturally gifted artists I have met), thoughtful and socialble are my words to describe Iyke. I met Iyke in primary school in Nigeria and our relationship has blossomed over the years to that of a mature, brotherly one. This man has also been part of different major highlights of my life. Highly methodical in his approach to handling tasks (an attribute I am keenly trying hard to emulate), I am truly honored he agreed to be part of my Groomsmen.
Groomsman
Ejykeman!!! I also met Ejike in primary school. There are many fond memories of him when we were kids. The most memorable was when he volunteered to write my class notes when I had a fractured right elbow, covered in cast. That meant a lot to me. Ejike was a prodigious soccer player and we enjoyed watching him play football for our class then. I've sometimes wondered why he did not make a living with that gift, he was that good. Our relationship has progressed over the years. I am honored to have him as part of my Groomsmen.
Groomsman
Eze my man! I met Eze in nursery school! ( Yes, you heard it right! Alvan Nursery School!!!). Coincidentally, we were both in the same class throughout primary school too! This man struck me then as more mature for his age. Industrous by nature, he could make things out of practically nothing, even then! Eze bears a strong sentimental value in my life and has been there through different phases of it. I am truly honored to have him as part of my Groomsmen.
Groomsman
I have known Tochi since primary school and have fond memories of our time in school. Fun fact, our mothers attended the same Nursing School in Nigeria and have known each other for a long time. Tochi and I share many fond memories of our childhood days. An inquisitive mind, I remember how he would memorize all the state capitals of the world and would mesmerize us with it. He was an early adopter of technology and has done exciting things in tech. We rekindled our friendship after we met in the US. It means the world to me to have him as one of my Groomsmen.
